Microsoft Excel 2003 - Portable Version Description: This version of Microsoft Excel 2003 was made especially for USB flash drives as it does not require any installation. Put this on your USB flash drive or portable hard disk and use it on just about any Windows computer (Internet cafe, school, library etc. ). Everything you would normally find on an "installed" version of Excel 2003 is included in this portable version. Note: For those who are new to portable applications, this can also be used from a local hard drive on most Windows PCs. Instructions: 1. Unpack the .7z file using WinRAR (or 7zip). 2. You should get a folder called "Excel 2003 Portable". 3. If you plan on using this on a USB storage device, place the "Excel 2003 Portable" folder on your USB device. 4. Inside the "Excel 2003 Portable" folder, double click on the "Microsoft Office Excel 2003.exe" file to start using the application.
Thanks again, your uploads are very useful!
Take care and have a good life!

This *almost* works, better than the11thmtndiv version, because this finds the user XLSTART and customizations. However, it crapped out on me complaining about VBA, and loading a second time seems to lose the personal settings. I am aching for this to work because I want to move to Linux but depend on many years of Excel VBA.
I just don't know what to do, and don't have enough time to learn?

Also destroys existing windows installation information...why would it do that? Stupid. Not recommended.
LOOKS COOL FOR ME. tHANKS!
I have 2007, but I really need Excel 2003 because MS has messed up the VBA, especially for charts. Does it work alongside Office 2007 well?
This stuff works - I downloaded and checked after I wrote the last post.
1. VBA works fine
2. Doesn't conflict with office 2007 - they seem to maintain different config files
3. Does not however have the addins, e.g. Solver, Analysis Toolpack, etc. are not there
Great upload mate, thanks!

just got trojan warning for this .exe by AVG
i got a trojan warning for this .exe be careful
Worked fine with Windows XP, but does not work with Windows 7 x64 :-(
Not a trojan, no viruses :) after first run it makes a few folders within the folder which you run the exe file...where the basic needed data is stored...settings etc. :)
I needed the 2003 version for a teaching session for a company that yet didn't update to 2007/2010 and I downloaded this version in about 3 minutes! ;) Thanks a lot for the upload, much appreciated! :)
